I love ancient myths and history, regardless of culture, and do my best to know a little of something about everything...and if I don't? I'll make it up as I go. You will find I am a Bapticostal *Baptist/Pentecostal Holiness hybrid* with a thirst for knowledge of other faiths, Christian or not, and a love for the unique. | I have moved! Not just in RL, but in Bloglife! If you keep track of me, here is where you can find me, when I've got the time to blog, which is rare! http://ladyofthelathe.livejournal.com/
| Tomorrow kicks off ETISS FAEST! Woo hoo. Centaur party! Just for the occassion I did..*ahem* Trist and Argen - Drey and Epona's twin sons who are now probably in their late teens. *EG*

Don't ask me why Argen has a real Terran soccer ball. Ahem. It just... looked happy where it was, soooo, I didn't bother replacing it with anything else. I blame the song Sex and Candy on these images. *hums innocently and runs off*
| Uhm.... Wow. That's me...and if that's WITH a tan, I need serious help. *dies laughing* I am soooo.... Celtic I guess. Pale skin, freckles, reddish hair. Oh well! I'm gonna bore the piss outta ya'll with pix now! Bwahahaha
Uhm... yup. That's me. *dies*
Something scaly... there were TONS of igs there actually, and most ppl walked by them EVERY day and never noticed they were there unless one moved. We did that the first two days we were there... had NO idea they were two feet from us till one happened to almost get stepped on by me. LOL. Good thing lizards don't scare me.
Something else scaley... and I mean the 'Cuda... not Kel. *G* Nasty teeth these things have! Man. Annnd, to answer the question, No. Misty does not get sea sick. However, Tracy, the half the couple that went with us, and he's the one that really wanted to fish, did. He spent his part of the fishing trip hanging his head over the side of the boat. *Hums*
And here's one of the shots of the resort. It was just STUNNING! Topaz blue everywhere...*eyes the sky and water*
The kids and Bandit a.k.a Granpa - he's 27 years old. That's...like...87 in ppl years. LOL Kristyn takes care of him a lot now, and gets to ride him whenever she likes in return. And man, is he BIG. I have trouble getting my foot in the stirrup, let alone Kristyn getting on him easily!
Here's Sam, napping on Grandpa... well. Faking a nap. LOL

So, did I mention its 106 degrees here today? With high humidity? I bought the kids a pool, they came in for lunch and a nap... and Choc, the neighbor's lab, who hangs out with my lab, just couldn't take it anymore. He actually lay completely down at one point. LOL
Annnd, I'm in the throws of a DIY job... re wallpapering the kids bafroom and hall this weekend. Sheesh! Next! Sam's ROOM! I found diamond-plate furniture for his room! Its black powder coated metal with inserts of diamond plate aluminum. Has this... tool box, guy in the garage feel to it. *EG*. I'm putting Harley Davidson wall border in his room, painting the walls a dark color half-way up, then getting him an Orange County Choppers comforter/sheet set. *bwahahahahah* Tis gonna look awesome! Annnnd, we bought 40 acres of land last night. *steps off the emotional rollar coaster finally* More on that later. And for An'Thaya.... Now I have the song Night Moves by Bob Segar stuck in my head. *EG*
| SIX! *YODELS*
I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO cannot sit still today. I'm also contemplating beating my kids real good in about 2 seconds. Water hoses with the tap on full blast and trampolines do not mix. *sigh*
BUT YEAH! *bounces*
At least my house will be clean, and hopefully I can find someone to watch the kiddos for a couple of hours while I meet up with Kenya *the wifely half of the couple that's going with us* to get a pedicure... I don't normally splurge on stuff like that, but hey. Ten years of marriage and 17 years of dating?
I think I deserve it.
Annnnnnnnnd. My husband has bought a ton of high performance... stuff... for the Pony. It's on a rack today, at a friend's tire shop, and its getting new radiator, water pump, light weight fan pulleys, uhmmmm... cold air induction *think air flow stuff*, new headers, new exhaust, new exhaust pipes, thermostat, throttlebody, and good lord. I don't know exactly what all was in those boxes, but HOLY COW.
The little Mustang already FLIES... once he puts all the new stuff on it, it will really zoom.
We finally had the new top installed last week. This time its a black top, not the factory white. What moron decided to design Ford Mustangs in the 90's with a dark paint job and a WHITE top? That's like wearing a HOT black leather skirt, black nylons with a black seam up the back, and white patent pumps.
Morons... Just morons. *EG*
Okay, I gotta run! Put this energy to use!
*waves*

| Well, okay, I'll try anything once. *coughs repeatedly* That's why Kelly fell in love with me... really. *EG*
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. I promise not to come after you with a spatula either way.
When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.
